2015 SEC Championship Game
The 2015 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, and will determine the 2015 football champion of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The game will be played between the East Division champion Florida Gators and West Division champion Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama will be the designated home team, and the game will be broadcast nationally by CBS for the 15th consecutive year.

The winner of the SEC Championship Game had gone on to compete for a national championship each of the last nine years. The SEC went 7–1 in the final eight BCS Championship games. In 2014, Alabama made it to the College Football Playoff, losing in the semifinals to eventual national champion Ohio State. Florida qualified for the game by defeating Vanderbilt, 9–7. Alabama qualified after defeating Auburn 29–13. This is the eighth time Florida and Alabama have faced each other in the championship game, but the first since 2009.
